In August 1974, our school’s founders opened our doors to 25 children seeking a Jewish day school education. With the start of school this week, Posnack School entered its 48th year. Seventh Grade civics students worked on a project named "Survivor Island" this week. The project's premise is that 100 survivors find themselves on a deserted island. The students must figure out how to survive together with only what the island provides. The goal is to create a safe and peaceful society where everyone can live together.

The premiere screening of Hochberg Middle School’s “Names, Not Numbers: A Movie in the Making” took place this Thursday evening. It was a special evening for the Posnack Community as we honored the four Holocaust survivors interviewed for the documentary.
