Posnack School students competed against 36 teams from other Jewish school in the local CIJE Innovation Day. Our teams earned 1st, 2nd, and finalist prizes for their innovations. "The Medicine Machine" was the big winner. The machine receives prescriptions directly from physicians, checks for accuracy, and automatically dispenses medications in a pharmacy. Second prize was "Gumsense" for its faster scanning of gum tissue for periodontal disease. Visio-hat, which helps blind people scan for obstacle at head level to avoid injury was named a finalist.
