Undefeated in conference play this season, the Hochberg Middle School girls' volleyball team made it to the league semifinals only to be defeated in a tough three-set tie breaker against Hebrew Academy. Hebrew Academy went on to win the league championship. The Fischer High school girls' volleyball team triumphed in their quarterfinal district tournament match, beating Avant Garde in straight sets.
