Fourth Grade has been researching and learning all about the Florida Everglades. During the field trip the students cruised the Everglades in an airboat and spent time slogging. The students learned about the history of the Everglades. While on the airboat students researched and compared the temperature and pH levels of the “ridge” and “slough” waters. The students also got very dirty in the name of science while slogging they hiked through the Everglades natural habitat.
